Coach Monahan introduces the Huskies' newest prospect

Andover High School Head Coach Ben Monahan proudly introduced his latest addition to the girls' squad Thursday morning as Adyson Joy arrived safely at 8:03 a.m.

Adyson, at 0' 19" and 7 lbs, 10 oz, has a little work to do in the weight room before donning the black and vegas gold, but she will have some time to mature before the Andover Class of 2030 prospect will vie for a starting spot sometime in 2026.

"It has been a long and tiring process trying to get her into the fold," said an elated Coach Monahan.  "This is her first time in a whole new world and it was a bit tough trying to cut that umbilical cord, but she seems to be adapting just fine."

Team officials also announced that proud mother, Kim, is also doing very well and resting comfortably.   Adyson Joy's big brother, Easton, reportedly has already booked ice time for their first session of shinny hockey and is looking forward to having a training partner in the house.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Monahans!
